A special programme on the occasion of Baisakhi (a Sikh festival) was organised in this Gurdwara by the ‘Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee’ and the ‘Evacue Trust Property Board’. At this time Gopal Singh Chawla said that we are in the Shiromani Committee, yet we are still Sikhs. We are in the Delhi Committee, yet we are Sikhs. We cannot raise our voices openly, but still, we are Sikhs. We really want to have our own country. Whoever is the Guru’s Sikh, will participate in my declaration of Khalistan Zindabad.’
