Prayagraj (UP) – “The population in our country is imbalanced and the number of Bangaladeshi infiltrators has increased. Hence, the Anti-conversion Law should be implemented strictly”, said RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, while participating in a RSS Action Committee meeting. The RSS Action Committee also demanded that those who are being converted should not be given the benefit of reservations.

It further stated that the Hindu population is dwindling due to religious conversions. This has happened earlier also and its consequences have been experienced. Public awareness campaigns are being undertaken by the RSS with regard to the conversions. Gharwapasi campaigns (Reconverions) are being welcomed. Gharwapasi campaigns are being implemented for those who converted to Islam and Christianity so as to bring them back into Hindu Dharma. Many laws have been passed to stop conversions, but they need to be implemented. In UP and some other States, conversions are not allowed.

H.H. Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohan Bhagwat attended the Action Committee meeting from 16th to 19th October. 372 workers from all over the country attended this meeting. The number of RSS ‘Shakhas’ in the country has crossed 61,045, it was said.
