Matter being sent to Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ should be novel, precise and concise

Many seekers send their experiences during Prasar (Propagation of Spirituality in society), spiritual experiences, learning, their journey in spiritual practice, awakening of bhav (Spiritual emotion), poems, etc. to the Compilation section for publishing in the Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’. Many articles are very lengthy. As a result, there are obstacles in their selection, compilation and publication. Hence, seekers should remember the following points while sending articles.

1. What kind of articles should be sent to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ ?

A. Precise matter on the following should be sent on priority and written precisely. Unique spiritual experiences regarding Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale, past incidents with Him, aspects learnt from Him, points on how He moulded seekers in their spiritual practice and seva.

B. Novel experiences with Saints and Sadgurus of Sanatan, aspects learnt from them.

C. Novel spiritual experiences and distinct incidents in the life of seekers.

D. While writing on the unique characteristics of seekers and child seekers, ensure that they are precise and easy-to-understand. Details are published in the Daily on how to send these details, so ensure you have such Issues or cutttings so that above points are considered and adhered to while sending details.

E. Novel writing on other topics should be concise.

F. While writing on topical subjects such as coronavirus pandemic, avoid sending repetitive matter, which has already been published. Write in brief only if it is different and novel.

G. Some seekers have expired in recent times. Relatives and other seekers should send important matter about such seekers as early as possible; only then it will be possible to publish the matter on the 10th or 12th day of their demise. Many times, such matter is received just 2-3 days inadvance; hence, the Compilation section has to rush through the process and publish it in the Daily. A photo of the expired seeker and age should be shared with the matter. The authors of the matter should provide their full names, relationship with the expired seeker, town, etc. If details are incomplete, the seekers responsible for co-ordination have to spend a lot of time to collect and compile the information.

2. What kind of matter should not be sent to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ ?

A. Seekers should not send their detailed thought-process. This can be shared during the review of seeker’s individual spiritual practice.

B. Seekers should not send 5-6 long poems at a time. At times, some lines in the poems are incomplete. Therefore, it becomes difficult to comprehend the meaning and compile them. In addition, long poems need to be shortened by removing unnecessary parts. All this takes a lot of time of the Compilation section.

Seekers should mention details such as their full name, age, town, date, contact number at the end of the matter. If there are any references in the matter, ensure that they are accurate. Also, if there is a reference to some article in ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, mention the date of the Issue, so the Compiling seekers do not have to spend time to collect all the missing information.
