The doubling rate of the coronavirus patients has gone to 12.0 days – Central Govt

New Delhi – According to the data received on 3^rd May, for the past three days, the doubling rate of the virus has become 12.0 days from 10 days. The proportion of deaths is minimum as compared to other countries. On 3.2% of the infected patients died due to coronavirus, said  Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan further said, “ We have crossed over 10 lakh tests till date and are performing over 74,000 tests in a day presently. At present, no coronavirus patient has been found in 319 Districts; whereas 130 Districts are ‘Hotspots’. No Hotspots in 283 Districts. There are coronavirus patients in these Districts, but their number is negligible”.
