Incendiary Video of Congress Leader Ahmed Khan Circulates While Protesting Against Waqf Act in Karnataka!
Davangere (Karnataka) – “It is not possible to accept the amendments to the Waqf Act. Mere protests, carrying placards, or submitting petitions to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, or District Collector will not achieve anything. Everyone must take to the streets. In protest, set fire to trains and buses, revolt, vandalize, die,” said former Congress corporator of Davangere Municipal Corporation, Ahmed Kabir alias Ahmed Khan, in a provocative statement opposing the Waqf Act.

A video of his speech related to this has been widely circulated. A case has been registered in Azadnagar Police Station regarding the matter. Police have begun an investigation.
Editorial PerspectiveWill any action ever be taken against the Congress leader opposing the Waqf Reform Act in Karnataka, even though the Congress is currently in power there ? On the contrary, just like how Muslims in Bengal are committing violence over this law, if similar violence erupts in Karnataka, it should come as no surprise ! |
