Spiritual research on the positive effects of the Mahadhanwantari Yag on various components of the Yag

The Shri Mahadhanwantari Yag (ritual of sacrificial fires) was held at the Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Celebrations on 19.5.2025 from 3.30 pm to 7 pm, following the guidance from Maharshi. The Yag was hosted by Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Jayant Athavale and His spiritual successors Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs.) Anjali Gadgil. Sixty-four married couples made a resolve (sankalp) for this Yag. The presiding priests for the Yag were Gurumurty Shivacharya from Erode, Tamilnadu and Shivagam Vidyanidhi Agamacharya, Shri. Arunkumar Gurumurty. This Yag was attended by thousands of seekers from the country and abroad.

Spiritual research was conducted by the Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay to study the effects of the Shri Mahadhanwantari Yag on various components of the Yag, using a pendulum. A pendulum has the capacity to measure positive and negative energy in objects, premises and individuals. Details of this research are given further.

1. Analysis of observations from the study : Photographs of various components of the Yag were taken before and after the Yag and later readings of these photographs were taken with a pendulum. They are tabulated further.

1 A. Positive effects of the Mahadhanwantari Yag on seekers attending it : Very little negative energy was traced in two female seekers before the Yag but this was nullified after the Yag. The rest of the seekers in the study had a considerable amount of positive energy before the Yag which increased after the Yag. The positive energy in all seekers is recorded further.

1. Seeker with severe spiritual distress
A. Female seeker 22.5 32.5
2. Seekers without spiritual distress
A. Male seeker 42.5 63.5

  • Subtle : The gross (physical) aspects of an individual are the five sense organs - the nose, ears, eyes, tongue and skin. These five senses, beyond the mind and intellect, are ‘subtle’. These ‘subtle’ sensations are felt by some people who have advanced in their spiritual practice. Various Scriptures contain references to subtle knowledge.
  • Seeing, hearing in the subtle, etc. (Receiving knowledge through the five subtle sense organs) : The subtle vision of some seekers is awakened; meaning, they can perceive what the physical eyes cannot see; some seekers can hear sounds or words in the subtle.
  • Individual spiritual experiences of seekers published in Sanatan Prabhat are according to the Principle - ‘Where there is bhav (Spiritual emotion), there is God’. It is not that every individual will have similar experiences.
