Smt. Anita Barara (Age 73) attains the spiritual level of 71% and becomes Sanatan’s 138th (Samashti) Saint

Nanded (Maharashtra) – Smt. Anita Barara from Nanded, who possesses prembhav (Love for everyone), intense yearning for God-realisation and little ego, attained the spiritual level of 71% and was declared Sanatan Sanstha’s 138^th (Samashti) Saint on 25.2.2026. On this occasion, Sanatan’s Sadguru Nandakumar Jadhav, Pujya (Smt.) Barara’s son Mr Pankaj, daughter-in-law Mrs Richa and grandson Master Ridhan, as well as seekers performing satseva (Serving the God Principle) in Nanded, were present. On hearing about Smt. Barara’s Sainthood, Her relatives and seekers experienced immense Anand (Bliss).

Smt. Anita Surendrapal Barara has been performing sadhana (Spiritual practice) since 2001 under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha. From the very beginning, she was serious about sadhana. With an intense yearning to perform satseva, Smt. Barara has been wholeheartedly and consistently performing satsevas such as collecting advertisements and donations, enrolling subscribers for the Periodical Sanatan Prabhat and conducting satsangs. Even at this age, her enthusiasm and promptness in satseva are truly commendable.

Due to virtues such as a calm nature, simplicity, yearning for sadhana and faith in God, she attained the spiritual level of 61% in 2013 and was freed from the cycles of birth-and-death.

Initially, her husband, Surendrapal Barara (Age 78), opposed his wife’s samashti sadhana (Spiritual practice for the spread of Spirituality). However, due to her intense yearning for sadhana, Smt. Barara continued to perform satseva despite her husband’s opposition. Gradually, because of her perseverance, his opposition reduced, and later, he also began assisting his wife in sadhana. In 2016, Surendrapal Barara attained the spiritual level of 61%.

Smt. Barara, who remains detached from Maya (The Great Illusion that the material world only is real) and is often in a state of bhav (Spiritual emotion), gives Anand (Bliss) to all seekers in her company. While performing satseva with her, seekers get the spiritual experience of obtaining Chaitanya (Divine consciousness). Transformations at the level of Chaitanya are taking place in her body. All these are indicators that she has attained Sainthood. On the day of Guru Purnima in 2025, Smt. Barara’s spiritual level was 69%. On this auspicious day, (25.2.2026) by attaining the spiritual level of 71%, She has become Sanatan’s 138th (Samashti) Saint.
