An agent from Bahrain’s pharmaceutical industry has contacted a pharmaceutical company in Chandigarh to enquire about the ‘Prussian Blue’ capsules. These capsules are useful in a nuclear emergency. The agent has enquired if the company can manufacture 1 crore capsules and how many doses are required for the population of different age groups. Many such questions have been asked. This medicine reduces the effect of radioactive elements on the body.

The director of the company, Dr. Vaishali Agarwal, said that negotiations are currently underway. If the deal is finalized, the medicines will be supplied to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan.
