Kill Hindus and win elections

Major conspiracy by political parties to win elections in Bangladesh

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – It has come to light that a despicable plan is being executed in Bangladesh to win elections. Ahead of the general elections scheduled for 12 February, a well-orchestrated conspiracy has been hatched to incite violence against the minority Hindu community. According to intelligence sources, several leaders contesting the elections are working on a strategy to polarise votes by making anti-Hindu rhetoric the central election theme. This explains why innocent Hindus are being killed there—the truth is now before the world.

Strategy to incite violence

A senior intelligence official said that a meeting of certain leaders was held last week. During this meeting, a strategy was formulated to incite violence against Hindus. To execute this conspiracy, extremist elements have also been brought in. According to officials, the condition of minority communities in the country is extremely alarming, and as the elections draw closer, the likelihood of violence increasing is high.

Changing direction of election discourse

Experts closely monitoring Bangladesh say that this time the elections will not be fought on issues such as development, security, or economic agendas. Instead, the entire election discourse may revolve around anti-Hindu and anti-India narratives. According to sources, some leaders are provoking extremist elements by claiming that India has given shelter to Sheikh Hasina. It is also being propagated that Hindus in Bangladesh are pro-India and therefore do not have the right to live in the country.

Use of false narratives

Another official stated that an important part of this conspiracy involves fabricating false narratives against the minority Hindu community—making false allegations of theft and other crimes against Hindus—so that local people are incited to commit violence against them. Sheikh Hasina has also become a major issue in election politics. Many parties are portraying her as pro-India and anti-Bangladesh. Allegations are being made that India has provided her refuge, while Bangladesh has demanded her extradition. According to experts, it is difficult to predict how successful this strategy will be; however, a large section of Bangladesh’s population wishes to maintain good relations with India rather than with Pakistan.

Jamaat-e-Islami benefits; fear of worsening situation

Officials say that anti-India and anti-Hindu rhetoric is greatly benefiting Jamaat-e-Islami. The biggest concern is that the situation may deteriorate further in the coming days. Many Hindu families in the country are living in an atmosphere of fear. If violence escalates, there could be large-scale migration, which would place additional pressure on border areas. These regions have already become sensitive after Jamaat-backed Muhammad Yunus came to power.

Decline in the Hindu population

Atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh are not new. They have been ongoing for many years, and over time there has been a significant decline in their population. According to officials, the situation is more serious this time because it is not merely persecution—it has become a deliberate part of vote-bank politics. All this is happening at a time when some leaders are demanding the establishment of an Islamic state in the country and are speaking of implementing Sharia law instead of the Constitution. In such a tense environment, serious concerns have arisen regarding the safety of minorities living in Bangladesh.
