This reflects the anti-Hindu mindset of the Samajwadi Party. Hindus will certainly bring to an end the political existence of a party that shelters people who stoop low to insult Hindu Deities, Scriptures, and Saints !
Lucknow (UP) – Without directly naming Jagadguru Rambhadracharya (Photo above), Samajwadi Party leader and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad made a derogatory comment against Him, saying, “How sinful must be those who have no eyes !”
At a rally held in Bareilly on 17th September, Chandrashekhar said that a Saint has neither caste nor religion, a Saint belongs to everyone. Chandrashekhar added that the city of Meerut is historically tied to the First War of Independence of 1857; therefore, referring inappropriately to this land is unacceptable.
Chandrashekhar further remarked, “I have heard that He has been blind since childhood. We often hear that people reap the fruits of their deeds from past lives. Then what terrible sins must He have committed in His previous birth that nature did not even give Him eyes ? How grave must His sins be ! And yet people take knowledge from such a criminal !”
What is the issue ?
A few days earlier, during a Ramkatha programme in Meerut, Jagadguru Rambhadracharya had described Western Uttar Pradesh as a ‘mini Pakistan’. He had said : “Today Hindus are facing a huge crisis. Coming here feels like entering a small Pakistan.”
