Another Earthquake Shakes Afghanistan : 1,400 lost life so far

Earthquake again in Afghanistan!

Kabul (Afghanistan) – Afghanistan was shaken again as a 4.8 -magnitude earthquake struck the country early morning of 05.09.2025. The country was recently hit with earthquakes. So far, 1,400 people have lost their lives while more than 3,000 people are injured. Other countries including India are providing aid.

Indian earthquake assistance reaches Kabul by air.

External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar informed that India has sent help worth 21 tonnes which includes blankets, tents, cleaning material, water storage tanks, generators, kitchen utensils, sleeping bags, essential medicines, wheelchairs, hand sanitisers, water purification pills and medical items by airplane.
