Iranian drone ‘Shahed-136’ and Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal

Kyiv (Ukraine) – Ukrainian authorities have claimed that electronic components manufactured by Indian companies were found in Russian drones used for attacks. Based on this, Ukraine has filed an official complaint with both the Government of India and the European Union.

According to reports, Russia is using Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones to carry out attacks in Ukraine. Ukrainian officials stated that components found in these drones include a C.H.E.P. voltage regulator and an Indian-made satellite navigation jammer-proof antenna.

On this matter, Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India’s export of dual-use items is consistent with its international obligations related to nuclear non-proliferation and is based on a strong domestic legal and regulatory framework. Care is taken to ensure that such exports do not violate any laws.

Editorial Perspective

If tomorrow, Ukraine finds some electronic components from the USA, France, or Germany in Russian drones, what stand will it take ? At the core, Ukraine — which has become a scapegoat in the Russia-America war — will gain nothing by making a fuss over such trivial matters !
