New Delhi – It has come to light that an Islamic gang operating in Delhi has been raping Hindu girls who refuse to convert to Islam. The main centre of this gang is located in Shaheen Bagh, Delhi, where young Hindu women are raped and then forcibly converted to Islam. The ringleader of this gang is Abdul Rehman Qureshi. Police have successfully rescued a Hindu girl from Haryana from his clutches.

1. In 2019, the victim from Haryana came in contact with a man named Junaid through Facebook. He emotionally manipulated her. Falling prey to his deception, the girl ran away from home and came to Delhi.

2. In Shaheen Bagh, at a residential facility, she was pressured to convert to Islam. A Maulana (Islamic scholar) would visit regularly, speak against Hinduism, and show her videos promoting Islam, thereby brainwashing her.

3. In April 2025, Qureshi took her to his house, where he forcibly converted her to Islam and renamed her ‘Shifa’. Later, he married her off to Junaid, who was part of the same gang.

4. The victim’s family had filed a missing person complaint in Haryana. Based on this, Police registered a case and arrested Abdul Rehman Qureshi, who has now been remanded to 14 days of Police custody.

5. The Police team has conducted raids in Delhi, Goa, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Ten members of this gang have been arrested so far.

6. Investigations have revealed that this gang has links with banned organisation Popular Front of India (PFI), the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), and even terrorist groups based in Pakistan.

Editorial Perspective

While various gangs are actively working to ruin the lives of Hindu girls in India, the Government must take steps to protect them. At the same time, parents should provide education on Dharma to their children from an early age to prevent such exploitation.
