Christian missionaries active to convert Warkaris : Bible pamphlets distributed during the Wari

Pune (Maharashtra, 22nd June) – Agents of Christian missionaries have become active during the Annual Wari pilgrimage with the aim of converting the Warkaris who are chanting the Name of Deity Vitthal, as they head for His darshan in Pandharpur. It has come to light that Christian missionaries are distributing pamphlets with excerpts from the Bible and inviting the innocent Warkaris to worship Jesus.

On 22nd June, as the palkhis departed from Pune towards Pandharpur, a woman was seen distributing these pamphlets in the procession at Fatima Nagar in the morning. A vigilant member of the ‘Shri Shivpratishthan Hindusthan’, who are known as ‘Dharkari’ noticed this and stopped her.

Christian missionaries have used women to distribute these pamphlets, and to disguise their intention, the pamphlets appear to promote de-addiction by including a contact information for support. One such pamphlet quotes from the Bible : “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish”. This verse was cited along with references to the book.

Recognise the cunningness of deceitful Christians ! Hindus must unite and take firm action against such anti-Hindu activities.
