Congress will ban RSS if elected at the Centre : Priyank Kharge (Cabinet Minister, Karnataka and the son of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge)

Priyank Kharge

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Priyank Kharge, a Minister in the Congress Government and the son of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has announced that a ban would be imposed on RSS if Congress comes back to power at the Centre. Priyank Kharge stated :

1. Who is spreading hatred in the country ? Who is responsible for communal violence ? Who is talking about amending the Constitution ? Why doesn’t RSS ask tough questions to their political outfit, about the rising unemployment in the country or how the terrorists attacked Pahalgam, etc. ? Instead, the RSS is sowing seeds of communal hatred in society.

2. Are all the institutions like Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax Department being used only against the Opposition ? Why doesn’t the Government conduct an inquiry into the RSS – from where they get funds, their sources of income, etc. ?

3. RSS burned the Constitution and said that they want the Manusmriti as our Constitution. Didn’t they say that ? (Priyank Kharge should first specify the basis on which the Congress amended the Constitution in 1976. He should also note that he cannot mislead people again by making baseless accusations repeatedly. It is quite ridiculous that the Congress party still dreams of getting elected to power at the Centre. Considering their mentality now, the BJP Government should consider imposing a ban on the Congress party. The Congress party has twice imposed a ban so far on the RSS and then lifted it. Planning to repeat history will turn out to be self-destructive for them. – Editor)
