Israel Strikes Iran’s Defence Ministry and Oil Depots; 138 Killed So Far

Tel Aviv (Israel) – In a major escalation, Israel launched a fresh wave of missile attacks on Iran late on June 14, targeting the Iranian Defence Ministry in Tehran, as well as oil depots and gas refineries across Tehran and Bushehr. According to Israeli sources, more than 150 sites were struck.

The attacks have resulted in the death of at least 138 Iranian citizens, including 9 nuclear scientists and over 20 Iranian military commanders.

In retaliation, Iran fired more than 150 missiles towards Israel, killing 7 Israeli civilians and injuring over 215. Iran has also claimed it shot down three Israeli F-35 fighter jets, though this has not been independently confirmed.

The exchange marks one of the deadliest escalations in the region in recent times, intensifying fears of a broader Middle East conflict.
