
Rome (Italy) – We condemn the terrorist attack that occurred in India. We stand with India in the fight against terrorism. We appreciate ‘Operation Sindoor.’ It is the duty of every country’s Government and military to fight terrorism and ensure the safety of their citizens, said Franco Di Maria Jayendranatha, President of the Italian Hindu Union, while speaking to news agency ANI (Asian News International). A delegation from India, which provided information about the anti-terror operation, has arrived in Rome. The ‘Italian Hindu Union’ welcomed the delegation, during which Jayendranatha was speaking to the news agency.

He stated that over 2,00,000 Hindus in Italy have entered into an agreement with the Italian government, allowing for financial assistance to the religion. This agreement also allows us to perform our religious practices in the country Just as people of other religions donate or pay taxes in support of their faith, we too can contribute to ours. Italy is the only country in Europe where Hinduism has received such recognition and acknowledgment. |
