Prime Minister Modi thundered

Karnavati (Gujarat) – “We destroyed 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan in just 22 minutes. Everything was recorded on camera so that no one can now demand proof. We no longer need to furnish evidence. The terrorists whose funerals were held in Pakistan were given state honours, with Pakistani flags draped over their coffins. This proves that terrorism is not a ‘proxy war’ but a well-planned war strategy. Hence, it will be responded to in the same manner,” declared Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public rally here.
Key points raised by Prime Minister Modi:
1. Unable to win wars, Pakistan launched a proxy war through terrorists
- In 1948, when terrorists occupied Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, those mujahideen should have been eliminated on that very day. Sadly, Sardar Patel’s words were not heeded. Those mujahideen had tasted blood. This series has continued for 75 years. The Pahalgam attack was a part of this chain.
- Whenever wars occurred with Pakistan, India’s military defeated them all three times. Realising that it could not win conventional wars against India, Pakistan turned to proxy war. Terrorists are given military training and then sent into India.
2. India is a land of warriors
- This nation has advanced through its great cultural legacy. We were raised on the value of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (The whole world is one family). That is our character. We have lived by that. “Let others live happily, and live happily yourself” – this ideal has guided us for thousands of years.
- But when our strength is repeatedly challenged, this nation transforms into a land of valiant warriors
3. Soon to become the third-largest economy
- India has now surpassed Japan in terms of economy. When we moved from sixth to fifth place, there was a surge of enthusiasm across the country—because we overtook Britain, the very nation that ruled us for 250 years.
- Now, the pressure is to reach the third spot. India won’t wait long. We want the Indian flag to fly high across the world.
4. Take a vow not to sell foreign goods
- Traders in every village must pledge that even if foreign goods yield more profit, they will not sell them. Nowadays, even small-eyed Ganpati idols are being imported. These idols don’t even have open eyes. Holi colours and even water guns are being imported.
- I’m not asking you to throw away whatever foreign goods you already own. But for the sake of ‘Vocal for Local’, stop purchasing new foreign products. Today, many such items are being manufactured in India. We must take pride in the ‘Made in India’ brand.
