
Taipei (Taiwan) – Taiwan has openly supported India’s military action against Pakistan. Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry has issued a statement, “we strongly support the legal and necessary actions taken by the government of India for national security against those terrorists who crossed border and attacked innocent citizens.” The statement has condemned terrorism.
The statement says,
- After the terror attack on 22nd April in Kashmir, the tension between the two countries has increased, causing concern at the international level.
- Taiwan Foreign Ministry strongly opposes international terrorism and will closely work with any democratic partner in the world to combat it.
- Taiwan Foreign Ministry is keenly watching the developments between India and Pakistan. Taiwan will certainly participate in the combined efforts to ensure peace and stability in Indo-Pacific region.
