
Mandalay (Myanmar) – After a powerful earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand on 28thMarch, more than1,000 people are dead and 1,700 injured. The local authorities informed, “more than 30 lakh citizens have been displaced.” India is supplying aid to both the countries.

After the earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand several buildings collapsed, and houses were destroyed. Hundreds of people are trapped under the debris. Relief work is going on at several places. Caved -in roads, highways and collapsed bridges can be seen in the quake-hit areas.
