While signing this order Trump questioned, “Why are we providing $21 million to India ? They have plenty of money. Compared to us, they are one of the highest-taxing countries in the world. Their tax rates are so high we cannot compete with them. I have great respect for India and its Prime Minister; but why are we funding their voter expansion?” (Trump should now investigate where and how was this money actually being spent and inform the public – Editor)
Editorial PerspectiveThe United States wasn’t financially aiding India but rather destabilizing it. Now, if the US is putting an end to this, India can only be relieved ! At the same time, it should also be revealed who in India was receiving these funds and how they were utilizing them. |
