Washington, US – US President Donald Trump has stepped up action against Iran. As a part of increased pressure tactics for Iran, he has attacked Iran-India friendship. US has decided to revoke India’s waiver at Iran’s Chabahar port and banned Indian establishment, ‘Marshall Ship Management Company’. US has accused Indian establishments of helping Iran in oil trade with China. The US fears that Iran is busy making nuclear bombs after the war with Israel. 1. On 4th February, the Trump administration had ordered more and more economic pressure on Iran. The US expects to reduce Iran influence through such pressures.
2. An official statement released by the US says, Iran is earning billions of dollars by selling oil every year, thereby carrying out activities to destabilise the entire region. Iran is supporting terrorists from Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis.
3. US has also said that the money earned through oil is used by Iran in making nuclear bombs, missiles and killer drones.
