‘786’ is a sacred number for Muslims

Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) – An incident of writing ‘786’ on the temple of Mata Gama Devi has come to light in Gotha Khandua village here on the day of Diwali. The situation has become tense over the incident. Angry citizens have demanded strict action against the culprits. The Police have started investigating the incident. The place where ‘786’ was written on the temple has now been painted.

Fanatic Muslims pelt stones on a Hindu house for bursting firecrackers
A mob of fanatic Muslims pelted stones at the house of a Hindu youth named Sachin who was bursting firecrackers during Diwali in Hafizganj Police Station area of Bareilly. They also threatened to set Sachin’s house and other Hindu houses on fire. In the complaint filed by Sachin, his neighbours Naseer, Imran Ansari and Anasaya have been named.
