A humble request to all readers, well-wishers and devout followers of Dharma
1. Significance of Dhanatrayodashi : Dhanatrayodashi is on 29.10.2024. Dhan (Wealth) means pure Lakshmi, which is worshipped on this day to help in nourishing mankind smoothly. For businessmen, the New Year starts from Dhanatrayodashi when they worship the treasury. To offer money for a virtuous act is the worship of Goddess Lakshmi in the true sense. According to Scriptures, it is said that a man should spend 1/6th of his earnings on the task associated with God.
On the auspicious day of Dhanatrayodashi, money should be offered for God’s mission of instating Dharma. When wealth is spent on auspicious tasks, Dhanalakshmi always dwells with the donor in the form of Lakshmi.
2. Satpatre-dan, meaning, donating to an individual or organisation where the wealth is going to be used for the task of spreading Dharma : In today’s times, the state of Dharma is precarious. Due to the lack of education on Dharma, the pride of Hindus in Dharma has been shattered. Therefore, the mission of reinstating Dharma is a Divine mission in the present times and it needs to be prioritized.
Donating to Saints devoted for the cause of spreading Dharma, or organisations and associations that are active for the protection of Nation & Dharma, is the best charity during the present times.
Sanatan Sanstha has been carrying out the mission of bringing about awakening on Dharma selflessly for many years. One can be certain that any donation to Sanatan Sanstha will be used only for reinstating Dharma.
