Yerawada (Pune) Police Station’s Inspector Anjum Bagwan involved in anti-Hindu and anti-social activities

Samast Hindu Aghadi demands strict action

Anjum Bagwan

Pune – The working president of ‘Samast Hindu Aghadi’, Mr. Milind Ekbote, has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, making serious allegations regarding the biased and anti-Hindu behaviour of Police Inspector Anjum Bagwan of Yerawada Police Station here, demanding immediate strict action against him. The letter has alleged that Anjum Bagwan is openly discriminating against Hindus in the Police Station and is supporting religious fanatics and land mafia. The workers of Samast Hindu Aghadi have also demanded immediate suspension and strict legal action against Anjum Bagwan.

Primary serious allegations in the letter

1. Anjum Bagwan registered a false case against pro-Hindu activists Aniruddha Lashkare and Vikram Singh Rajput, who helped a Hindu woman and her mother, a victim of molestation in Nagpur Chawl, to file a complaint against Abid Sheikh and Sahil Sheikh. A conspiracy was hatched along with religious fanatics at the Police station at night. The victim and those who helped them were subjected to mental torture.

2. Mr. Vitthal Jivade, a Hindu man, was brutally asaulted by fanatic Muslims with a belt and a stick and forced to convert to Islam. Bagwan categorically refused to register a complaint in this case. Bagwan threatened Mr. Gadkari, a Hindu man, who visited the Police Station to file a complaint, with a false ‘POCSO’ case. Gadkari is currently missing.

3. On the occasion of Shiv Jayanti, while a Hindu boy was bursting firecrackers, Baghwan himself ran and snatched the crackers from him and abused him. This act is a symbol of the hatred in his heart towards Shivaji.

Support for Love Jihad and drug trafficking

Incidents of ‘Love Jihad’ are constantly taking place in Kalyaninagar and the surrounding ‘IT Park’, and Hindus are being harassed by fanatic Muslims in Shantirakshak Society and other areas. Similarly, the sale of drugs from pubs in Kalyaninagar and the illegal hotels of fanatic Muslims that operate all night have been protected by Bagwan.

Bagwan refused promotion to stay at Yerawada Police Station

Anjum Bagwan has refused his promotion because he wanted to stay in Yerawada and feed the anti-national tendencies. The government has decided not to give an executive post to an officer who refuses promotion; but the senior officers must have ignored it because of their affection for Bagwan. Bagwan has committed several crimes. There is evidence about it; but the senior officers are protecting him because they do not care about the people. This is very serious.

Editorial Perspective

  • Why is it necessary to make such a demand? Police officers who are abusing their positions and fueling anti-Hindu and anti-social activities, instead of protecting law and order, are disturbing social peace. This needs to be investigated immediately and they should be severely punished and dismissed.
  • How come no one paid attention to an officer with such anti-Hindu and suspicious behaviour? The senior officers who supported this must also be investigated.
