Tel Aviv, Israel – The conflict between Israel and Lebanon appears to be escalating. After killing Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrullah, Israel also reportedly killed his successor, Hashem Safaidin. After this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened to ‘make Lebanon’s situation similar to Gaza’. Following this threat, the Israeli military has intensified offensives against Hezbollah on Lebanon’s southern coast. There are also fears that the situation in both countries will escalate further after Netanyahu threatened Lebanon.

‘Free your country from Hezbollah’ : Netanyahu’s appeal to Lebanese citizens
“If Lebanon allows Hezbollah to operate within their borders, the country could end up like Gaza,” Netanyahu told the Lebanese people. “Free your country from Hezbollah. Get them (Hezbollah terrorists) out of the country. Doing so would end this war and prevent further destruction,” he added.
