New Delhi – Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanullah Khan has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with financial misappropriation in the Delhi Waqf Board.

Amanatullah Khan is accused of illegally recruiting 32 people while he was the chairman of the Delhi Waqf Board. Along with this, he illegally leased several properties of the Delhi Waqf Board, and also allegedly misappropriated the board’s funds.

Why are the rulers who took Hindu temples under Government control in the name of alleged malpractice, do not do the same to the Waqf Boards ? Anyway there is anger among the people about these boards, and the Waqf Act is anti-public.
