670 people feared dead due to landslide in Papua New Guinea

Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea) – 670 people are feared dead due to landslide in Papua New Guinea, an Island country in Pacific Ocean. On the early morning of 24thMay, there was a landslide in Kaokalam village, in Enga Province, crushing more than 150 houses. 670 people were trapped under the soil. All of them are feared dead.

The rescue personnel are braving perilous conditions in their search operation. So far only 6 to 7 dead bodies have been recovered. The number of the dead might increase.
