An incident in Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) – In an encounter between Police and Mohammad Junaid and his accomplices involved in gang rape of a girl on the night of 3 rd of December 2023; Mohammad got injured with a bullet in his leg. The other four accomplices of Junaid managed to flee. Police are searching for them.
In the Tronica city area of Ghaziabad, a complaint was registered with the Police on the 30 th of November 2023 about the gang rape of a girl. Police filed a case and started a hunt for the accused. As the information was received about the culprits hiding in the forest of Khanpur, the Police reached there, but the criminals started firing at them; therefore, the Police fired in retaliation. During this firing, Mohammad Junaid was injured as he was hit on his leg. On interrogation, Mohammad admitted to his involvement in the gang rape, as per the information given by Dy Police Commissioner Loni. Further investigations are going on.
