Tel Aviv (Israel) – After Hamas attack, Israeli Government has revoked work permits of 1 lakh Palestinian workers employed in Israel. 1 lakh Indian workers will replace them. Israel says, now Palestinian workers cannot be trusted. Israel does not give work permit to them anymore,

1. 6 months ago, in May 2023, Israel signed a deal with India that will allow 42,000 Indians to work in Israel – especially in the construction sector. Now Israel has demanded three times more the number than the original MOU.

2. Palestinian workers get more payment in Israel than in Palestine. The Palestinian workers whose permits have been revoked are mainly from the construction sector.

3. Currently, 18,000 Indian workers are employed in Israel. Already, in the Middle East countries, Indian workers are in large number. Nearly 1 crore Indian workers are employed in countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and UAE.

Bharat will sincerely try to comply with the demand from Israel. It will be imperative to verify that the workers reaching there are not pro-Palestine supporters. Among Indians, it is very clear who hates Israel, so, the Government will not find it difficult to use discretion.
