Shivalinga at Kapileshwar Temple in Ahilyanagar attacked with a sharp weapon

Ahilyanagar – Unknown miscreants attempted to cut the Shivalinga at the Kapileshwar Temple, leading to cracks in the Holy Shivalinga. This denigration of the linga was realised at the time of the morning puja on the 23rd of October. Immediately on getting this news Bajrang Dal’s Kunal Bhandari, MLA Sangram Jagtap, and the activists of various Hindu Organisations rushed to the Temple and clamoured for action against this desecration of the temple. This incident has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus. A large Police presence is deployed now for the Temple’s security. Condemnation of this act by the Bajrang Dal and a notice and warning have been given that if action is not taken against the miscreants there will a complete Bandh on the 25th of October.
