Bhayandar (District Thane) – The founder of ‘Hindu Trust Force’ Advocate Khush Khandelwal has brought to light a case of ‘Land Jihad’ in the Utan Dongri area here. Two years ago, the ‘Hazrat Sayeed Balesha Pir Dargah Trust’, built a dargah on 24 acres on Government land. This land is made up of Government’s mangrove land at Utan Dongri’s ‘Mauje -Chauk Government survey No. 2’ and ‘Mauje- Tarodi Government Survey No 37 area 10-hectare R’. Advocate Khush Khandelwal of ‘Hindu Task Force’ informed that they have given a written complaint about this at the Mira-Bhayandar Tahseldar’s office, and we are going to Court to get it demolished.
What is this matter ?
According to the information given by Advocate Khush Khandelwal –
Mira-Bhayandar’s Upper Tahasildar Dr. Nandakishore Deshmukh had in 2020 made a subcommittee at the Taluka level to examine the matter.
Thereafter when the subcommittee went there for inspection on 23rd of November they saw the old Baleshah pir dargah which was only 100 square ft. But around it could be seen illegal construction of the new dargah after destroying about 10,000 sq foot of Mangroves. It was covered with a net so that it could be hidden.
On the 5th of December the then Circle Office Prashant Kapde submitted the inspection report to the then Upper Tehsildar. According to it, a case had been registered of destroying the mangroves against the Trustee of the dargah, by the Utan Sagari Police Station. Yet the illegal construction is continuing.
On 10th Oct 2022 the dargah trusts secretary Abdul Kader Qureshi made an application to the District officer Thane, to get the entire 24 Acres in the name of the Dargah Trust. This would make the illegal construction legal. To this the ‘District officer Thane’ ordered the existing Upper Tehsildar of Mira-Bhayandar Shri Nilesh Gauda to investigate and submit report.
The Administrative Officer sent a false report
Advocate Khandelwal says, that during the hearing the Additional Tehsildar had asked the circle officer Deepak Aher and Talathi Ramesh Fapale to make an inquiry and submit a report. Thereafter the two officers on 23rd of January 2023 in cohoots with the Trustees of the Dargah submitted a false report stating that the encroachment done two years ago , was actually an old that is before the year 1995.
