Weird demand by Union Minister Ramdas Athawale
NCP leader demands lifting of ban on liquor in Gadchiroli

Bhiwandi – Thousands of people have died so far by consuming illicit liquor. Recently, around 18-19 people died in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad. Laborers work hard and take care of their families. They consume illicit liquor during stressful times. Illicit distilleries continue despite repeat police raids. If an Illicit distillery is stopped in one lane, bottles are available in the next lane; therefore, such production never stops. Instead, legalise such liquor production; It will generate revenue for the Government and help save the lives of poor people. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale made this suggestion to the Government while speaking to reporters in Bhiwandi.
