Japanese drivers are the safest, and India is in the 17th rank

Sydney (Australia) – 3,700 people lose their lives in road accidents every day across the world. On average, 13.5 lakh road accidents take place in the world daily. As per the study by ‘Compare Market’, an establishment in Australia regarding the ‘Safest Roads and Drivers, it was found that Japanese roads and drivers were the safest, followed by UK, Netherlands, Germany, Canada and Spain. Among top 20 nations, India stands 17th for safer drivers.
Adrian Taylor, the General Manager of ‘Compare Market’ said that the expertise in driving does not refer to male or female drivers, but depends upon individual capacity and experience.
