New York (USA) – While in the US, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticised the Union Government in connection with the terrible train accident in Odisha. Addressing the Indian community in New York, Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime does not accept reality. A similar train accident took place when the Congress was in power at the Centre. At that time, Congress did not say that ‘the accident happened due to the mistake of the British’, but we took responsibility and made the then Railway Minister resign. BJP is going on explaining but not accepting the reality. It has a habit of blaming and not admitting mistakes.
The Modi Government cannot run away from accepting responsibility for the tragic accident that resulted in over 270 deaths. Gandhi had also recently tweeted that the Prime Minister should look into this immediately and the Railway Minister should resign.

How can a politician be called a politician if he does not politicise anything ? Please note that the politicians who appeal to the people to maintain unity on the occasion of any social crisis, themselves do not follow it ! |
