Amit Shah vows to scrap reservations of Muslims in Telangana

Hyderabad (Telangana) – Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on Sunday, vowed to scrap reservations for Muslims in Telangana if the BJP forms Government in the State. Addressing the rally at Chevella near Hyderabad, Amit Shah slammed religion-based reservations, calling it “unconstitutional”.

Amit Shah accused the K Chandrashekar Rao Government of implementing the Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM “agenda” in the State. “No Government can run in Telangana whose steering is with Majlis (Owaisi). We are not afraid of Majlis. The Government of Telangana will run for the people of the State. It will not run for Owaisi,” Shah said.
