
Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – A complaint has been filed against the comedian Yash Rathi for making an offensive comment on Bhagwan Ram. According to a report, Yash Rathi made an offensive statement about Bhagwan Shriram in the name of a joke at an event at Nanda Chowki in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He said that when Jesus first tried to walk on water, he drowned in the water because he had not written ‘Ram’ on his slippers.

Hindu religious organisations protested at the venue for this insult against Bhagwan Ram. Sagar Jaiswal, the president of the Bhairav Bhawani Sansthan, filed a Police complaint against Yash Rathi. Based on this complaint, the Police have registered a case against Yash Rathi. The Police are further investigating the matter.
