After attacking Indian Embassies in London and San Francisco, Khalistanis have now attacked an Indian journalist in the on-going pro-Khalistani protests in Washington. Since this journalist’s name is Lalit Jha who represents the Indian news agency PTI, this is a direct attack on India.
Some Hindu temples in Australia have been attacked by Khalistanis in the past few weeks. These attacks have been dangerous for Hindus. To avenge the ‘Operation Blue Star’ carried out by the Indian Army at the Golden Temple in Amritsar in 1984, Khalistanis bombed an Air India plane that was travelling from Toronto to Mumbai in 1985, killing all 329 passengers on board. If India does not promptly eliminate the Khalistanis flourishing in various countries, who can ignore the possibility of a similar attack ?
A change in Foreign Policy is necessary
In August 2019, when India abrogated Article 370, which granted special status to Kashmir and established the historic supremacy of the Union Government in the region, it rattled the Jihadi country Pakistan severely. The detention of Hurriyat Conference leaders for several months too shocked Pakistan. Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI started working to teach India a lesson thereafter.
By providing support to the Khalistanis in Canada, USA, UK, they were once again incited to carry out anti-India activities. During the Corona pandemic, the same Khalistanis released videos that gave false information about India which poisoned the world opinion. For the past few months, they have taken to the streets and tried to put the so-called ‘oppressive face’ of India in front of the world. Opposing the attack on the Indian Embassy in UK, Indian Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar has categorically asserted that the British Government is failing to fulfil its security obligations.
Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the Indian Ambassador to the US, is a Sikh himself. Through him it is possible to convince the White House to take appropriate action against the on-going pro-Khalistani activities in the US. During the recent visit of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to India, Prime Minister Modi clearly asked him to protect temples and Indians in Australia.
People who carry weapons understand the language of weapons only ! Therefore, it is not enough to just make tough statements; India should force the concerned countries to take India’s concerns seriously and take action against Khalistanis.
It has become necessary for India to make a radical change in its foreign policy to eliminate the Khalistani movement. It goes without saying that isolating Pakistan is very much a part of this strategy !
Increase the scope of the battle
Khalistanis are trying hard to destabilise India’s internal situation as well. The actions being taken against them by the Punjab Police and the Union Government are needlessly amplified. It is in their support that agitations are being held in various countries. Therefore, mere use of arms is not enough to crush a conspiracy like the Khalistani movement. Nationalist Sikhs across the country, including Punjab, must unite and oppose the Khalistanis. If this happens, will the Police and Union Government protect such patriotic Sikhs ? At the global level too, our patriotic Sikh brethren and Hindus should unite and show how the Khalistani movement is anti-humanity, terrorist and violent. Indian Embassies should assist them in this regard.
Ideological change is necessary
Basically, the glorious history of Sikhs is based on the unparalleled bravery and teachings of brilliant spiritual masters. Over the past 500 years, countless Sikhs have sacrificed their lives to protect India. Many Sikh Gurus such as Guru Tegh Bahadur were massacred by Islamic invaders. Today, their own descendants are joining hands with the descendants of their enemies to demand Khalistan ! Does this not dishonour the sacrifice of the Sikh Gurus ?
The Sikh sect was essentially established to protect Hindus. The British sowed the seeds of anti-Hindu thoughts in the minds of Sikhs. The Khalistani movement is the tree that has grown from these seeds ! Deputy Commissioner of Punjab during the British rule, Max Arthur McAuliffe, took up the task of creating a wedge between Sikhs and Hindus. By influencing Veer Singh, a theologian, false history was written to show how the Sikh sect is different from Hindu Dharma. This significant ‘subversion’ is today taking us towards yet another Partition of India. Therefore, to crush this movement, it will be necessary to reverse this ideological pollution and bring the misguided Sikhs back to India’s fold.
Only if the Modi Government builds a strong force for this fundamental change, the Khalistani movement will be permanently eliminated !
To prevent another Partition of India in the form of Khalistan, there has to be a global uprising of Hindus and patriotic Sikhs !
