Shri Ram Temple vandalised in Canada

Ottawa (Canada) – In a disgusting incident that took place on 14^th February in Mississauga, Canada, the Shri Ram Temple was vandalised and anti-India slogans were written on it. Khalistanis are said to be behind this incident. The Indian Consulate in Toronto has condemned the vandalism of the temple. The Consulate has also demanded severe punishment for the culprits in this case.

1. Earlier in January too, there was an incident of writing anti-India slogans on the Gauri Shankar temple in Brampton, Canada. After that, the Consulate of India along with the local Hindu citizens there expressed their anger and demanded an enquiry stating that this incident has hurt the sentiments of Hindus living in Canada.

2. In September 2022, there was another incident of vandalism at Shri Swaminarayan Temple in Canada. Khalistan supporters are being accused in all these incidents. In July 2022 too, a statue of Mahatma Gandhi at a Hindu temple in Richmond Hill, Greater Toronto Area was vandalised.

Editorial Viewpoint

Khalistanis have been rampant in Canada and have the protection of the Government there. The Indian Government has to pay special attention to this and make global efforts to prevent such incidents and curb the Khalistanis !
