Patna (Bihar) – In Champaran District, the NIA arrested 2 Jihadi workers of PFI in the Phulwari Sharif incident. The two are accused of supplying bombs and arms for targeted murder. Mohammad Abid and Tanvir Raza are the names of these jihadis. Last year in July 2022, 5 PFI terrorists were arrested for anti-national activities in Phulwari Sharif. After this, the NIA raided PFI bases in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. And in Bihar, the investigation and raids continued.
In a statement, NIA said, the arrests were made after conducting raids at eight locations to disrupt a conspiracy hatched by PFI cadres to carry out targeted killing in East Champaran District in Bihar.

In Bihar, the NIA officers are raiding these 9 Districts – Nalanda, Katihar, Aria, Madhubani, Patana, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, and Saran. After the PFI was banned, they stopped giving arms training and changed their style of jihadi activities. It has been seen that PFI jihadi agents are underground. But are conspiring to target some individuals.
