The whole city will be set fire after the namaz on Friday : Religious fanatic Muslims threaten

  • Threat by religious fanatics from Indore in Madhya Pradesh
  • Called Hindus ‘Pigs’

Indore (MP) – A video showing religious fanatics shouting anti-Hindu slogans here, has gone viral on social media. ‘Sar tan se juda’ gang has been blamed for shouting such slogans. One Muslim is seen threatening, ‘Entire city of Indore will be set on fire’; another saying. ‘This will be done after the namaz on Friday’. Muslims present there are seen supporting them and calling Hindus ‘Pigs’.

Vinod Bansal Spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has made a demand with the State Home Minister Dr Narottam Mishra of arresting those associated in this regard by implementing the National Security Act. The Police have taken a note of this video and have filed a case against 2 Muslims. Both are fugitives; one has been found in Ajmer in Rajasthan and the other in Ratlam, MP.

What is the issue ?

Some devout Hindu Organisations in Indore had demonstrations on 25th January against the film ‘Pathan’ of Shahrukh Khan; at that time Muslims registered a complaint against one Hindu alleging to have shouted slogans against Mahammad Paigambar; hence 7 devout Hindus had been arrested. There were violent agitations over this, all over the State.

Editorial viewpoints

  • It is essential to question those who create a false image that Indian Muslims are in danger.
  • It is not expected that religious fanatics threaten like this when BJP is ruling in  Madhya Pradesh (MP).
