Pakistani boat, carrying weapons and drugs worth Rs 300 crore, seized off Gujarat coast

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) – Indian coast guards have succeeded greatly in the action taken in the ocean of Gujarat. Indian coast guards have succeeded in the campaign undertaken jointly with Gujarat’s Anti-terrorist squad (ATS) in seizing the Pakistani boat carrying 40 kg of narcotics worth 300 crores on Gujarat’s seashore. In this seize 10 Pakistani crew members were arrested. Gujarat’s ATS had received the news about this boat earlier.

Pakistani crew tried to enter via the ocean of Gujarat carrying arms, ammunition and narcotics. Indian coast guards patrolling the Indian ocean border seized the Pakistani boat ‘Al Soheli’ in Indian Maritime Territory at Okha. Later Indian coast guards brought all the arrested crew members to the port at Okha. This is the 7th joint venture of Gujarat ATS and Indian coast guards. This was the first time to seize arms, ammunition and narcotics in such great proportion.
