Islamabad (Pakistan) – According to the statement released by the military media wing of Pakistan, Syed Asim Munir, the new Army chief said, “Let me make it categorically clear, Pakistan’s armed forces are ever ready, not only to defend every inch of our motherland but to take the fight back to the enemy if ever war is imposed on us”. On 3rd December, Asim Munir visited the Line of Control (LOC) adjacent to India.

He inspected the checkpoints along LOC. He interacted with officers and soldiers during the visit. General Asim Munir further emphasised that India’s statements about Gilgit, Baltistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) is highly irresponsible. Recently, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had said, ‘We will take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir’.
Editorial viewpoint
During the last 75 years, Pakistan has lost all four wars with India and been divided into two. However, its avidity doesn’t seem to be waning. Until Pakistan is completely destroyed, its arrogance will not diminish. |
