We consider Taiwan to be ours and will reunify it with us : Xi Jinping

Beijing (China) – ‘We have taken strict measures to protect Taiwan’s independence and reject interference by other countries. We consider Taiwan as ours and will reunify it with us’, Chinese President Xi Jinping said while speaking at the 20^th Congress of the Communist Party of China. The meeting will be held from 16^th October to 22^nd October, in which, the leadership of the country will once again be handed over to Xi Jinping.

Xi Jinping said,

1. We have the largest educational and health facilities in the world. We have safeguarded people and their health at the highest level during the Covid-19 pandemic. The first priority during a pandemic is to save people’s lives.

2. Mountains and rivers must be preserved for China’s security. We are constantly working to protect them. China’s security forces have been strengthened. To fully establish Party leadership over the military, we have made fundamental changes, which are showing good results. Hong Kong used to be chaotic, but now it is completely under China’s control, Xi claimed.

3. China has fought the longest war against poverty in human history. Our efforts to reduce poverty around the world are important.

China’s ‘Zero Covid Policy’ will continue !

Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that there will be no change in the controversial ‘Zero Covid Policy’ made by the Chinese Government to curb the coronavirus. The strict restrictions implemented to contain Covid-19 have now started to be widely opposed. Two days ago, many placards were displayed in Beijing against this meeting. These placards showed opposition to Xi Jinping and demanded that he step down from the presidency.
