Hindus need to do ‘Seemollanghan’ in such a manner that the enemy does not dare to attack !
‘Vijayadashami’ is the day of victory for Hindu Deities and great warriors. The defeat of demonic forces and victory of the Divine powers are the hallmarks of this day. It is, therefore, a practice in Sanatan Dharma to worship Goddess Aparajita (meaning, ‘Unconquerable’) and do ‘Seemollanghan’ (Crossing the borders) on this day.
Today, the enemy is not only doing ‘Seemollanghan’ in Kashmir but is crossing Delhi and moving to every corner of our country to target Hindus. In such a situation, worshipping Goddess ‘Aparajita’ at home and going to a temple on your village border in the late afternoon as a symbolic ‘Seemollanghan’, amounts to completing a formality only. Hindus need to understand that this would not amount to celebrating ‘Vijayadashami’ !
If Hindus worship Goddess Aparajita with faith and devotion, pray for Hindus to remain unconquerable, the Deity will certainly bestow victory. Similarly, do ‘Seemollanghan’ in such a manner that the enemy does not dare to attack.
This will bring the true joy of celebrating the ‘Vijayadashami’ festival.
