An attempt to impose President’s Rule in Bengal by inciting riots

Kolkata – “Attempts are going on to incite riots in Bengal, so that President’s Rule can be imposed in Bengal. What happened in Manipur ? Common people do not indulge in such activities, political parties are doing it. Do not get trapped in their game plans. Bengal government supports minority”, stated Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at a function on Ramzan Eid.

Points expressed by Mamata Banerjee

1.We are secular. Navratri is here. I extend best wishes for that too. However, anarchy is unacceptable. It is shameful that not common people, but the political parties are doing it.

2.We all are ready to sacrifice life for Dharma. It is the duty of the majority to protect minority. It is also expected that minority co- exists with the majority. (In fact, the situation in Bengal is contrary to it. Why is Mamata hiding the fact ? Minority Muslims are attacking Majority Hindus, they are targeting Hindus’ religious places and festivals. Why is Mamata Banerjee silent about it ?- Editor)

3.We were asked whether Communists and Ram are the same. I was asked whether I was a Hindu. I answered with pride, I am a Hindu, a Muslim, a Sikh, a Christian and an Indian. (Will even one Muslim say that he is a Muslim as well as a Hindu ? And will he practice it ? – Editor). They want to create a rift; they want to create riots. Do not get misled. I am with you; the entire government is with you. (It is a well-known fact that Bengal government supports Muslims and opposes Hindus. – Editor)

4.‘Sabka sath sabka vikas’ is a total lie. We believe in Ramkrushna and Vivekananda. (Those who believe in Vivekananda can never be anti-Hindu and anti-national. Mamata Banerjee is telling a lie. – Editor) We are against that religion which political parties have created by sloganeering. They are anti-Hindu.

5.I will not allow riots. (Riots always break out because of Muslims. A few days ago, Malda and Murshidabad witnessed it. It re-enforces the lies of Mamata Banerjee.)

Editorial Perspective

President’s Rule should have been imposed in Bengal a few years ago itself, however, it has not been imposed even today. It is most unfortunate for Indians. Trinamool Congress supports not only anti-Hindus activities but also anti-national activities, which is as clear as daylight. It is a mystery that President’s Rule has not been imposed yet.
