Kolkata – Following an attack on a Hindu procession by Muslim fanatics in Malda, Bengal, there are reports of rising tensions in Murshidabad district, caused by similar groups. The BJP has shared videos that highlight these developments.It showed that fanatic Muslims were selectively attacking and trying to burn down Hindus’ homes, shops, and farms.

1. On March 29, Hindu-owned shops and farms in Zaubona village, within the jurisdiction of the Nauda police station in Murshidabad district, were reportedly targeted by groups of Muslims late at night. This incident has heightened tensions in the area.

2. Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Union Minister of State and BJP Bengal President, stated that a group of Muslims looted and set fire to Hindu shops in Zaubona village. He also reported that an attempt was made to burn the fields of Hindu farmers during the night.

3. BJP MLA Shubhendu Adhikari posted on X that attacks on Hindus are continuously increasing in Bengal. The Mamata Banerjee government and the Trinamool Congress are doing politics of slander.
