60,000 copies of Hanuman Chalisa distributed in South Africa

Pretoria (South Africa) – Hinduism is widely practised in South Africa. Many people here believe in Sanatan Dharma. The leading Hindu organisation in South Africa, SA Hindus’ distributed 60,000 small copies of Hanuman Chalisa in 8 temples nationwide. Members of the SA Hindus organisation recently conducted a distribution campaign in Gauteng province and also distributed two tons of groceries to the needy.

On August 24, 2024, during the Bhakti Utsav, Hindus in South Africa, in partnership with ‘Shereno Printers’ and ‘Electro Online Media’, first launched an initiative to distribute 10 lakh copies of Hanuman Chalisa. They plan to distribute 1 million copies of Hanuman Chalisa by the year 2029.
