If India was a Muslim-majority country, it would never have become secular

Archaeologist K.K. Mohammed’s clarification

Archaeologist K.K. Mohammed

New Delhi – India is secular only because it is a Hindu majority country. If Muslims were in the majority, India would never have become secular, said archaeologist K.K. Mohammed, who played an important role in the land survey of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. A video of him is currently circulating on social media in which he made this statement. K.K. Mohammed has been awarded the Padma Shri award. He is currently a member of the Indian Council of Historical Research. K.K. Mohammed had earlier appealed to return the monuments of Mathura and Gyanvapi to Hindus. Muslims who do not consider Shriram and Shrikrushna as national heroes cannot be role models.

Editorial Perspective

The so-called secular Hindu leaders of the country and their parties, as well as other organisations and institutions, will not open their mouths on this statement. The reason being it will not get them the votes of Muslims and will not get funds from abroad.
