Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) – Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the Vikramaditya Vedic App in Ujjain. This app will allow users to access planetary positions, constellations, and auspicious timings in 189 languages. Additionally, it will provide details from the Panchang (Hindu almanac), including sunrise and sunset timings.
Earlier, a Vedic Clock was inaugurated in Ujjain, and now this app, which will be completely free of charge, is being launched.
After the Vedic Clock, Ujjain to launch the Vikramaditya Vedic App, the world’s first clock based on Indian time calculations.

According to Shriram Tiwari, Director of the Vikramaditya Research Center, the app is currently undergoing testing before being made available on the Google Play Store. It is expected to be launched in April.
Prime Minister Had Earlier Inaugurated the Vikramaditya Vedic Clock!
On February 29, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vikramaditya Vedic Clock in Ujjain. This is the world’s first clock based on the Indian time calculation system, integrating all aspects of Vedic timekeeping.
The clock includes calculations related to Vikram Samvat, Yogas, Bhadra, festivals, auspicious and inauspicious periods, Ghati (Vedic time units), constellations, birth anniversaries, fasts, celebrations, Choghadiya (Hindu time division), solar and lunar eclipses, and planetary movements.
